Skye Dowell (they/them) is an art therapist and trauma-informed counselor who believes deeply in the transformative power of image, symbol, play, and creative expression. Their work is grounded in presence, intuitive listening, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey toward healing. Skye is passionate about creating spaces where people feel free to explore and embody their true selves with joy and ease.
As a non-binary artist and highly sensitive person, Skye is honored to work with people from all walks of life, and has a special passion for supporting neurodiverse and gender-diverse individuals. Their approach is collaborative and flexible, drawing from relational, psychodynamic, somatic, and parts-work-informed practices, alongside art therapy. They believe the creative process can help release and transform unhelpful narratives, and that with enough support, every person holds the capacity to heal – even after a lifetime of trauma.
