Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Develop healthy ways to cope with stress

About Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT is modified form of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), aimed at teaching individuals how to live in the moment, providing a “toolkit” of healthy ways to cope with stress, improve their relationships with others, and regulate their emotions.

DBT has evolved to treat mental health conditions related to difficulty with emotional regulation, exhibiting self-destructive behaviors (such as substance use disorders, and eating disorders), and sometimes is effective to treat PTSD. Speak to us today to see if DBT is right for you.
