Trauma Therapy

Receive guidance and support in navigating trauma recovery

About Trauma Therapy

We specialize in treating trauma and PTSD using diverse modalities that work. If you can’t stop thinking about something that happened to you, feel like an intense event changed you, think you can’t move forward because the past is holding you back, or otherwise struggle with traumatic events, trauma therapy can help.

Our specialists create custom treatment plans for your unique needs. In therapy, you will learn practical and helpful tools to move past a traumatic event or traumatic period in your life. Some approaches include:

  • Mindfulness: Training on being present in the moment, and feeling free from replaying the past
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): An effective technique for treating PTSD and trauma, using eye movements and adaptive processing to work through painful memories
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Focuses on the relationship among thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, with an aim at changing patterns of behaviors, thoughts and feelings that lead to difficulties in functioning
  • Somatic Therapy: Focus on the connection between the mind and body and uses a body-centered approach to re-wire the nervous system
